  • I want to build a game! What do I do next?
Click on the "For Families" section of this website and follow the steps.
  • If my child makes a game, do they need to stand by the game all night?"
No! Please create a set of simple instructions to be left at the game. There will be adult volunteers monitoring the area throughout the evening. Particpants can freely move between the cardboard arcade games, read the instructions, and play them.
  • What time should I arrive to set up the game?
Please plan to transport your game to the school and have it set up in the dedicated area between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM on Friday, May 3rd. (Rain date of Sunday, May 5th) The Carnival starts at 5:30!
  • Do I need to take my game home?
No! While we would love it if you did, all unclaimed games at the end of the evening will be recycled.
  • Will it cost anything to play the cardboard games? Can I win prizes?
No! While the traditional carnival games will be played with punch cards to win prizes, all of the carboard arcade games can be played for free. No prizes will be awarded.
  • Is there a "Build Night" at the school this year like in 2018?"
No, this year there is no Build Night. All interested families are encouraged to build games at home and bring them to the Carnival on May 3rd between 5:00 and 5:30 PM. Some students have been building games throughout the month of April with Ms. Woody at the school as part of on optional curriculum.
  • I have a question that's not here. Help please!
